Pandemic Poetry - Virtual Event

This is a virtual event

Much poetry is being written in response to the ongoing pandemic. Some of the poetry is dark, as poets struggle to come to terms with the plague’s implications; some is affirmative, as poets strive to find ways to appreciate life in the midst of uncertainty and chaos.  Featuring selected poems from “TejasCovido,” with work by Texas poets, and Together in a Sudden Strangeness: America’s Poets Respond to the Pandemic (Knopf), facilitator Stephen Souris will lead a stimulating discussion designed to provoke and inspire.
